Automatic concrete pipe cage welding machines for the production of high precision reinforcement cages for reinforced concrete pipes, driven and bored piles, poles, girders, pillars and columns as well as other structural elements.
Our concrete pipe cage welding machine is designed for the production off coil of reinforcement cages with diameters from 100 mm up to 6,000 mm containing variable quantities of longitudinal wires of different diameters. Depending on the type of precast product to be manufactured, the machines can be equipped and programmed to fabricate conical cages or cages with bell sockets or even with zigzag longitudinal wires. There is no limit to the length of the reinforcement cages which can be manufactured.
The semi-automatic range of machinery with manual longitudinal wire feed with bar material has been designed for the manufacture of heavyweight cages for bored piles, columns and girders. A recent addition to the range has been the BCM mesh plant for the production of engineered mesh and cages for box culverts, septic tanks etc.
Thanks to the modular design of the apilion range, machinery can be tailored exactly to meet customers’ technical specifications and production requirements.
The concrete pipe cage welding machines are available with several levels of automation:
Automatic straightening and cutting of the longitudinal wires using the ESR rotor straightening machine
The automatic feeding unit loads the machine with the longitudinal wires
The inverter welding unit ensures clean and precise welding
The automatic winding wire cutter rounds out the cage production process by automatically cutting the winding wire
The fully automatic cage removal cart removes the cage and emplaces it.
